VENDOR INFO

Your booth payment also indicates to us you accept and agree to all the information and terms below.

BOOTH SET UP AND TEAR DOWN:
Location:
The North Dakota Museum of Art
261 Centennial Drive
Grand Forks, ND 58202

Set up times are:  5-7 pm Friday, Nov. 30th , and 7:30-9:45 am Saturday, Dec. 1st.  You must be completely set up and looking all professional by 10 am…don’t make us look bad!
When you arrive, you can pick up your booth number at the museum’s front desk.
The Museum will be secure overnight should you choose to set up Friday, however NxMW is not responsible for your items should anything crazy happen.

When planning out your booth, please think unconventionally.  Create height and dimension in any way possible, and think about what will best showcase your products.  Check out this flickr group for ideas: http://www.flickr.com/groups/715724@N24/

Don’t forget a tablecloth!

Please keep yourself inside the lines….your booth space will be 6’ x 8'.

No electricity will be provided at your booth.

The museum DOES have free wi-fi! The wi-fi has been moved upstairs, so it will have a better signal this year.

Bring a buddy!  It’s good to have someone with you to give you a break now and then…but if you’re all alone, we can hook you up with a volunteer booth sitter.  The museum will be catering the event, so there will be food for sale, but bring yourself some water and munchies.

Tear Down:  does not begin until 5pm, and needs to be complete by 7pm.  Please don’t close your booth down early, it’s just not cool.

SALES TAX

We are required by North Dakota State Law to submit your name and info after the event.  You’re required to charge sales tax (6.75%).  It sounds scary…but it’s totally not.  Consider building the tax into your pricing if you don’t want to whip out the calculator every time you make a sale.

If this is the only event you’ll be selling at in North Dakota this year, you can download a One Time Remittance form.
If you plan on selling at more than one event in North Dakota this year, you need to get yourself a North Dakota Sales and Use Tax Permit.

The necessary from for both options can be found here: http://www.nd.gov/tax/salesanduse/forms/

If you have further questions you can call the North Dakota Sales Tax office at 701.328.1246.

Should I / How do I accept credit cards?
It’s always a great idea to offer the credit card option, as many customers run out of cash!  If you have a smartphone, we suggest square:
